The Mesma Gold Coast project is the leading Hotel Resort & Real Estate development in West Africa. The resort is an integrated development comprising some 650 acres with approximately 1 km of sea frontage. This unique resort will be developed over 10 years with the initial stages given over to the construction of the 5 star deluxe Hotel, championship golf complex, the community infrastructure and quality real estate developments.
Strategically located along the coast between Accra and Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana, this new development utilizes the natural landscape that slopes down towards the sea and ensures that visitors and owners will be able to enjoy the seclusion of this beach resort set in a managed, landscaped and secure environment.
One of the main objectives of this development is to provide Ghana with its first lifestyle amenity which delivers an international standard resort that people aspire to. The resort’s design will also respect Ghanaian culture and heritage and will make important use of the lagoon that sits below the Hotel and the Country Club.
The Hotel will be perched on a headland with guestrooms enjoying dramatic views of the sea and the golden sand beach. The hotel will offer a wide variety of activities including a Spa designed to provide guests and members with the ultimate in Spa treatments and relaxation.
Based beside the lagoon the Health & Water Sports Club will provide visitors and members with numerous water sports options, tennis, squash and equipment to enjoy the lagoon, the seas offshore and promote personal well being.
The Championship Golf Course, multi-purpose practice range with floodlights and the Golf Academy situated around the lagoon all offer the experienced golfer and the learner the ideal opportunity to practice and improve their game. The 18 holes championship golf course will provide an exacting test for the golfer with each hole carefully crafted to maximize the contours of the land and utilize the dangers of the water hazards that will abound the course and which will no doubt swallow any wayward shot.
With every intention of creating a new community at Senya Beraku, the Masterplanners have given careful thought to the needs of the short and long term guests and future residents. The Masterplan envisages a wide range of amenities to support the real estate development and the Holiday Village as well as ensuring that the resort has a strong infrastructure. At the outset of the development, a district market is planned to provide daily produce with a supermarket, deli, bakery, restaurants, shops, cafés and night clubs all planned for later phases.
The Real Estate for the resort will be developed and released on a phased basis and will provide the opportunity for individuals and corporate parties to buy from a wide variety of alternative accommodation. The plans for the first show houses and apartments have now been drawn up and we expect to release off-plan details to our First Subscribers early in 2007.
